06 Nov Youth Opportunity Center Hires Assistant Chief Clinical Officer

The Youth Opportunity Center recently hired Dr. Kelly Bolinger in the role of Assistant Chief Clinical Officer for the Muncie, Indiana based youth treatment facility. She brings with her over 15 years of experience in the field as well as a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Argosy University in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Bolinger has worked in various psychology related positions over the years and has also taught psychology at the college level. From 2008-2011 she worked for The YOC as a cottage counselor for the Boys Intensive Adolescent Care program. In this position she worked hands on to help treat the youth of that cottage. She later contracted with The YOC as a psychological examiner.

“I am very excited at this opportunity to be the Assistant Chief Clinical Officer at the YOC. I am looking forward to working alongside some of the best staff and professionals in the community. I am eager to begin my journey at the YOC and to be a part of the YOC’s mission and vision for the kids,” stated Dr. Bolinger.

In her new role as Assistant Chief Clinical Officer with the Youth Opportunity Center, Dr. Bolinger will be serving as a member of the management team to provide administrative and clinical supervision of the APA-accredited Doctoral Internship Program, practicum training program, and the Diagnostic and Evaluation program. She will also exercise her extensive knowledge in the field of psychology to oversee the treatment of outpatients through case staffings and record review.
