27 Mar YOC CEO to serve as IARCA Board Vice President

Youth Opportunity Center CEO Rick Rowray has been elected to Vice President of the Indiana Association of Resources and Child Advocacy (IARCA) Board of Directors for 2017.

IARCA is a nonprofit organization representing approximately 90 member agencies in Indiana that provide services for children and families. These services include residential and foster care, transitional/independent living, home-based services, shelter care and crisis stabilization.  It works to promote cooperation, communication, development and mutual support among these organizations. IARCA’s ultimate mission is to be a voice and advocate for these agencies.

A board member since 2013, Rowray has served on the Public Policy Committee and was Chair of the Finance Committee. He joined the executive committee in 2015 as Board Treasurer.

“I’m proud to serve an organization dedicated to advocating not just for the YOC, but every organization that is committed to providing vital programming and services to Indiana children and families,” stated Rowray. “Assisting with and giving back to that mission is important to us at the YOC.”
