  • Maladaptive personality traits
  • Chronic emotional dysregulation
  • Youth who have experienced a broad range of traumatic events
  • Victims of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse
  • Social and interpersonal difficulties
  • Poor coping skills

The STEDY program takes a trauma-informed approach to behavior modification. Residents in the program focus on managing difficult emotions without resorting to impulsive, destructive, suicidal or self-harming behaviors. Specially trained treatment staff help teach better coping skills, social skills, and boundaries for females with emotional difficulties in a structured therapeutic environment.
