TARGET POPULATION: AGES 6-18

  • Chronic emotional dysregulation
  • History of self-injuious behaviors and/or suicidal ideation
  • Youth who have experienced trauma
  • Victims of physical, sexual, emotional abuse
  • Social and interpersonal conflict
  • Poor coping skills

The STEDY program takes a trauma-informed approach to behavior modification. Residents in the program focus on managing difficult emotions without resorting to impulsive, destructive or self-harming behaviors. Specially trained treatment staff help teach better coping skills for youth with emotional difficulties in a structured therapeutic environment.
