A key component of successfully working with youth and their families is the ability to provide adequate transportation to and from facilities. In order to serve that need, the Youth Opportunity Center Foundation purchased a vehicle for the Youth Opportunity Center to aide in their fleet upgrade. The new vehicle, generously discounted by Toyota of Muncie, provides an essential resource for transporting parents and children to crucial appointments as well as providing a means for family members to get to visitation and family counseling.

According to Jeff Helm, Director of Information Technology and Facilities, “We appreciate the YOC Foundation purchasing the vehicle. This acquisition will enhance the quality of services we provide to our children and their families across the state of Indiana.”

This past May, the YOC Foundation held a golf outing to raise money. The proceeds were designated to aid in the purchase of the vehicle.
