Helping YOCIn this time of economic uncertainty and pressures in society, private support helps provide the means for the Youth Opportunity Center to serve more children and to meet its vision for the future. Each gift, regardless of size, does make a difference in the lives of children at YOC. Your support is critical, and your investment in YOC’s programs and projects provides much-needed support to young people in crisis situations. Pooled with gifts from others, your contributions have helped, and continue to help, thousands of children and their families, transforming the future of east central Indiana and other communities throughout the state. The YOC is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, and gifts are tax-deductible in accordance with Internal Revenue Service regulations. YOC Director of Advancement is Nancy Dailey, assisted by Kathy Hinton. Dailey, a Delaware County native and Purdue University graduate, has worked more than 30 years in fundraising, alumni programming, marketing and communications. Her development work includes securing annual, major and planned gifts. Dailey has served in development and administrative capacities at Ball State University, University of Florida, Indiana University Bloomington and Indiana University Kokomo, the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh and Arizona State University Foundation. Learn more about the many ways to support the Youth Opportunity Center by contacting the YOC Advancement Office at: 765/289-5437, extension 5501, or contacting Dailey at ndailey@yocinc.org. Gift agreements are provided for gifts and pledges of $10,000 or more to ensure the implementation of donor expectations today and in the future. A variety of gifting methodologies are available: outright cash gifts and pledge payments (checks should be made payable to the Youth Opportunity Center); planned gifts, such as including YOC in your estate plan or through a tax-free IRA rollover; or through a donation of items and/or services. The Advancement Office staff is pleased to assist you or your financial advisor anytime regarding opportunities for support. YOC donors are recognized unless they wish to remain anonymous. Major and planned giving donors receive permanent tribute on the YOC’s Shafer Giving Plaza, a physical reminder on campus featuring the organization’s top supporters. Please be a part of our winning organization, demonstrate good support to children, and contribute to the Youth Opportunity Center today. Your gift will be put to good use!
