for Child Care Specialists. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older,
and must have a high school diploma or GED. A valid driver's license
is also required. Child care experience or completion of some college
courses desired. Applicants must be available to work any of three shifts
with an occasional weekend. Wage program provides opportunity to increase
at a rapid pace in early years of employment. Counselor: A master's degree or pursuant of such degree with significant progress, in psychology, counseling, or social work from an accredited school. The counselor holds ultimate responsibility for the completion of the residents treatment plan, which is completed in conjunction with the Cottage Manager and the direct care staff. The counselor will collaborate with these individuals in the completion of the treatment plan integrating information obtained from diagnostic testing, the treatment team, placing agent and family. The counselor will assure the implementation of the treatment plan by the treatment team and monitor the appropriateness of the treatment plan through subsequent quarterly reviews. <more> YOC offers over 70 positions, so be sure to check your local newspaper for more job openings.
